Texas-Texas Premium Salsa

The Austin, Texas-based brand Texas-Texas Premium Salsa had an interesting packaging design challenge: how to leverage the considerable existing equity of the brand yet enhance the impact of the name and product. The design process yielded many possible solutions. From these, the client did some market testing to see which directions resonated best with both existing and new customers. The look that emerged as the most appealing is one that holds many elements from the existing packaging label design, yet creates a higher impact for the "from Texas" feel of the product. Ellis Graphics has since completed a total re-packaging of all Texas-Teas products to reflect the new look of the brand.
