Golden West Lubricant Products—Austin Package Design

Golden West is a regional brand of lubricants offered by a Texas-based supplier who saw a need for high quality products at economical pricing as an intelligent alternative to the higher priced national brands. Golden West offered Ellis Graphics the opportunity to completely revamp the image of the brand. Our task was to position Golden West as the "high end of the low end" — the brand that offers all the value of national brands for less money. The selected design theme uses a primarily red/yellow color scheme to stand out on shelves with each piece of packaging designed to create buyer comfort — a sense of familiarity with the brand — even if they're seeing it for the first time. Ellis Graphics has been privileged to apply the brand theme to bulk and retail packaging of more than 50 products, to brochures, to product catalogs, and more.
