DiscGear—Austin Package DesignDiscGear asked Ellis Graphics to help with packaging design work for some new models of their popular CD and DVD disc storage and retrieval systems. In researching competitors, we discovered the value of the "touch factor" in creating shopper equity, thus our proposed packaging features an open end so buyers can get a good idea of how the product works. The clean and simple blue & white background allows photography to "pop.” In contrast to existing packaging, Ellis designed a single, partial cut-away image composite that simply and quickly describes the function of the product and its value over other disc storage solutions. |
